INTRODUCTION
FFU, the fan filter unit is a device of a combination of fan with filter, or maybe called ” filter device with self contained motor ”, normally it`s be installed at the end of cleanroom HVAC system tunnel.
Often be placed on the frame of ceiling grid. Upside is fan motor, and downside is HEPA filters. According the difference of cleanliness level, the air filters can be different efficiency HEPA filters, such as H13 or H14, U15 and so on.
Fan filter unit aim to provide clean air to the whole cleanroom air system. The fan filter unit to maintain normal airflow of the cleanroom system, not only to conquer HEPA filter pressure, but also overcome the resistance of whole air tunnel system. FFU is very easily to design and install, airflow rate adjustable easily, so it`s become very popular in the industrial air clean field.
